"School Parquet" flooring that can be used in residential, office, and retail spaces.

"Nostalgic" parquet flooring reminiscent of the classroom floor of the past. The simple mosaic woven in a checkerboard pattern is the charm of the finished product.

★Memorable Floor A flooring that was once commonly used in schools, it feels fresh yet somehow familiar. This flooring was often used in public facilities beyond just schools, but in recent years, it has been replaced by vinyl flooring and is gradually disappearing. It is understandable that it is being replaced by safer new materials in terms of workability, maintenance, and cost-effectiveness. However, for me, the memories of waxing the floors with everyone once a year during elementary school are irreplaceable, and it evokes a sense of nostalgia. That said, this flooring is still in active use in some places. It is likely still quietly adopted in some public facilities. We are now offering this flooring for general sale. ★Simple Mosaic Flooring blocks are made by connecting several pieces of solid wood side by side to form a square piece. In this product, five pieces of solid wood are combined with a backing sheet to create a 30cm square piece. While parquet flooring allows for a variety of designs, this product features a simple square pattern that creates a checkerboard design, providing a comfortable sense of refinement without being overly assertive.

  • Flooring materials by material (bamboo, cedar, cherry, paulownia, etc.)
  • Solid wood flooring/indoor

Decorative parquet flooring woven with marquetry.

Good news for those who are unsure about choosing flooring. A new flooring material, "Flooring for Those Who Want to Stand Out," has arrived for discerning individuals who are not satisfied with herringbone!

Unlike conventional long flooring materials, this is a 39cm square tile. Within a single board, 12 pieces of oak are assembled in a patchwork style. The pattern of the patchwork is unusual; instead of herringbone, it is laid out diagonally to form an "X," and as multiple tiles are installed, this pattern creates an interesting visual effect. What appears to be an "X" actually forms a large square, and another square overlaps that square. It may be difficult to convey this in words, but I think it will be clearer if you look at the photo on the left. The wood layers overlap. ★ Bringing the Earl's Floor into Your Home Have you ever seen patterned flooring while traveling in Europe or America? In palaces or museums, for example. It's the same kind of flooring you see in Western-style buildings from the Meiji era in Japan. It exudes a sense of luxury that makes you think it must have belonged to noble people in the past. This is understandable, as creating patchwork flooring requires an extraordinary amount of labor. That’s likely why it has been chosen. Why not use this nostalgic and artisan-crafted patchwork flooring in your home? It pairs surprisingly well even with wild concrete walls.
